Additionally, the United States government has put measures into place to assist employees. One of those acts is the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). This Act requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. These provisions will apply from April 1, 2020 through December 30, 2020. Each of you will receive a copy of the Employee Rights covered under the act in your Employee Self-Service portal on Paycom. Please take the time to review and familiarize yourselves with what is covered under the bill, because our agency will be adhering to the guidelines as required.
